The work changed over time, but curiosity, persistence, and helping people kept showing up.

Military

My technical foundation included hands-on troubleshooting and component-level electronics. The military reinforced working through problems methodically and understanding how systems connect.

Boeing

I later worked as a Boeing technician. That continued the hands-on technical side of my career and applied troubleshooting in a professional environment.

Microsoft

My work evolved from physical systems into software systems. At Microsoft, my software engineering work has included cybersecurity, distributed and cloud systems, full stack development, automation, and AI.

Real Estate

Real estate became another place to apply the same problem-solving mindset. I own property, have used house hacking personally, have experience with short-term rentals, and now help other people navigate real estate decisions.

My short-term rental operations are independent from KW West Sound and are not services provided through my Washington real estate license.

Tech Teacher

Helping people understand technology grew into community work. Tech Teacher is my nonprofit focused on improving access to technology and cybersecurity education.
