Learning should not feel closed off or intimidating just because someone is new to the subject or has not had the same access to training.

Why Tech Teacher Exists
The organization grew from years of learning, troubleshooting, teaching, and seeing how much difference a clear explanation can make.
Why I created Tech Teacher
I have spent years learning technology, solving technical problems, teaching, mentoring, and helping people understand systems that can feel complicated from the outside. I have also watched people struggle with technology that nobody took the time to explain clearly.
Tech Teacher grew from a simple belief: useful technology knowledge should not be limited to people who already work in technology. People deserve a place where questions are welcome and learning does not begin with the assumption that they already know the basics.
What accessible education means to me
Accessible education uses plain language, connects ideas to everyday life, and gives people something useful to do next. It does not make someone feel behind because they ask a simple question.
The goal is not to remove every technical detail. The goal is to explain the right details at the right time so a person can understand the risk, make a decision, or use a tool more safely and confidently.
My role in the work
My background includes electronics, military technical work, software engineering, cybersecurity, AI, mentoring, and teaching. Those experiences help me understand the systems, but Tech Teacher is not meant to be about presenting my résumé.
I created the nonprofit because teaching and helping people understand technology became increasingly meaningful to me. The focus belongs on the people Tech Teacher exists to help and on education they can use in real life.
